The man behind the mission — and the God who built him for it.
Every contractor has a story. Not every story sounds like this one. What follows is not a resume. It is a testimony — of a man shaped by hardship, refined by decades of craft, transformed by the love of Jesus Christ, and now fully surrendered to a mission that is bigger than himself.
William did not have an easy childhood. He witnessed evil in its most horrific form at a young age — and that experience shaped everything that came after. From that moment forward, there was no room left to be afraid of anything life could throw at him. He had already seen the worst.
That same experience forced William into responsibility long before his time. While other children were simply being children, William was protecting loved ones and learning what it meant to carry weight. By age twelve he was working weekends and summers. That work ethic never left him.
He excelled in construction because he was gifted in mathematics and geometry — and because he was not afraid of hard work. By sixteen years old, William was building houses and additions. Before he finished twelfth grade he already had his own business. In 1990, the year he graduated high school, William Faithluvhope entered the workforce fully self-employed.
William founded William Faithluvhope Contracting Inc. and built custom homes across Pennsylvania — the largest a 5,000 square foot custom residence. He built with precision, with pride, and with the understanding that a home is not just a structure. It is where a family lives.
In 2005, following a lifelong dream, William relocated his company to California — a dream realized. Over the next eighteen years he expanded into commercial construction at the highest levels: retail centers, electric vehicle charging stations, underground parking structures, civil infrastructure, and more. He operated at scale, managed complex projects, and built a reputation for getting things done right.
When California's political and economic decline made it impossible to continue, William made the decision to return to Pennsylvania. He came back not defeated — but redirected. What felt like a setback was, as he would come to understand, a divine appointment.
The transformation that followed baptism was not instant — it was the work of the Holy Spirit over time, giving William loving conviction to change his old ways. Not out of obligation. Not out of fear. Out of pure love from Jesus. Nothing else.
William's love and dedication to the Word of God changed his life from the inside out. The man who had controlled everything since childhood — who had made every decision, carried every burden, relied on no one — finally heard Jesus say clearly: “Enough. Now you will do it My way.”
William surrendered his will. He gave it to Jesus. And from that moment, instead of following himself, he follows Jesus. And because Jesus leads him, he has discovered that everything is possible — not some things under his own power, but everything under God's.
Jesus led William back into business — but not the same business he left. This is not a mission for William Faithluvhope. This is a mission for Jesus Christ and His glory. Where There's a Will, God Builds, LLC™ exists because God placed specific gifts in William's hands and called him to use them in service — to His children, to their homes, and to His Kingdom.
When you hire Where There's a Will, God Builds, you are not hiring a contractor. You are inviting a man who has been through the fire, come out the other side, and now builds with something most contractors will never have — a calling, an accountability to God, and thirty-five years of hard-earned expertise put fully in service of your home and your family.
Every nail driven. Every board set. Every project completed. To the glory of God.
